Long Island math and English test results, 2014

New York students have made "significant progress" on standardized math tests this year and "slight progress" on a test to measure English language arts, according to material released Aug. 14, 2014, by the New York State Education Department. The tables below give scores for districts and schools on Long Island, where English scores were down slightly. Eighth-grade math scores were low in part because thousands of accelerated students opted to take a Regents algebra test instead. Read more about the math and English scores here.

To see current and past scores for any district or school, search for it by name and the table will be grouped by year for that district or school. An "s" in the table indicates fewer than five students are in that group and the results have been suppressed to protect the privacy of individual students.
