Where garbage taxes increased

A court ruling meant changes in garbage district tax rates for many in Nassau in 2015. The districts involved are color coded on the map to show the percentage increase. Locate a property to see if it is in one of the districts, and then click in that district to see the name and specific average percent increase. On a desktop or tablet, you can enter a street address and community in the map search box. More details appear in the table below, and you can read more about the garbage district tax hikes.
