Employees of the Long Island Power authority made $5.4 million in 2014, a decrease of more than 53 percent from 2013, when the authority had 111 employees who were paid $11.6 million. Here are the details, based on information provided by LIPA in response to a Freedom of Information Law request. Total compensation can include accrued vacation time and other pay. The chart on top of the table shows payroll totals by department.
