Long Island weather: Snowfall totals since 1947

More than 62 inches of snow fell on Long Island in the winter of 2014-2015, according to data from Brookhaven National Laboratory in Upton and the National Weather Service. In the table below are monthly snowfall totals since the winter of 1947-48. Select a bar in the chart for total in any year.
