About This Project

This interactive multimedia player is designed to enhance Newsday's video presentation through the use of extrassuch as additional videos, photo galleries, statistics and more.

These modules will appear on the top, left and right side of the main video as it moves through our story.

For photo galleries, click on the words Full screen gallery or the adjacent blue four arrow icon to pause the video and expand the gallery to full screen images.

For graphics, click either View the graphic or the arrow icon to enlarge the image. When you have finished with the image, simply click the Back icon in the top right corner to minimize the module and return to the main video.

To view additional videos during the presentation, you can enlarge the secondary video by clicking the Play arrow icon in the lower left hand corner of the smaller video, or by clicking Full screen video in the lower right corner.

If at any point during the presentation you would like to advance or rewind through the main video, you need only click within the timeline below the project to move to the desired point.
