Infection data on hospitals in New York

Here are data on infections acquired at Hudson Valley and New York City hospitals for selected causes. Blood stream infections are related to the use of central line tubes that give fluids and medications, withdraw blood, and monitor the patient's condition. C. difficile is a common bacterium, and individual hospital rates for 2009 were not available. NA in this table indicates fewer than 20 procedures at the hospital.
