Background:

Graf is a member of the Assembly. Working with the State Senate, the Assembly can propose and pass laws that legalize and tax medical marijuana.

Graf, of Holbrook, was elected to the Assembly in 2010. A Navy veteran and retired New York City police officer, Graf is an attorney in Patchogue. The Glen Cove native was twice elected supervisor of the upstate Town of Brighton.

Do you support legalizing the use of medical marijuana in New York?

Yes

Should chronically ill children and teens be able to use medical marijuana with parental and doctor approval?

Yes

Ways to consume marijuana include smoking it, using it as an oil, taking it as a capsule and eating it.

Should medical marijuana be available in a variety of forms to allow patients to choose the form they use?

No

Should medical marijuana be limited for chronically ill patients and distributed by a limited number of hospitals as proposed by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo?

Do you support legalizing the recreational use of marijuana as has been done in Colorado and Washington?

Your survey is not consistent with the bill that is before the assembly. What you present here is an over simplification of the bill being put forward by Assemblyman Gotfried. Further, some of the questions cannot be answered yes or no, and all you have left is no comment.
