She is a graduate of Brentwood High School, and received a bachelor's degree in history from Binghamton University, a master's degree in secondary education from New York University, and a master's degree in school and district leadership from Stony Brook University.

Her comments:

I do not support the legalization of recreational marijuana use in the state of New York. I would consider the legalization of medicinal use of marijuana with clear and specific guidelines and regulations so that prescriptions are not obtained frivolously. The questions in this survey are limiting and do not allow for well-informed responses.
